Certificate of the ICEM 2026 Michel Poloujadoff Special Recognition Award presented to Gianmario Pellegrino

Professor Gianmario Pellegrino has been awarded the ICEM 2026 Michel Poloujadoff Special Recognition Award.
Over more than a decade, Professor Pellegrino has contributed actively to ICEM. He received the ICEM Brian Chalmers Best Paper Award twice, and delivered tutorials at ICEM in 2016, 2022, and 2026. He also served as Track Chair on several occasions and chaired ICEM 2024, which was hosted in Turin by Politecnico di Torino.
This recognition is particularly meaningful for the Politecnico di Torino electrical-machines community and reflects Professor Pellegrino’s longstanding commitment to advancing research, education, and international collaboration in electrical machines, power electronics, and electric-drive systems.
The award is named in honour of Professor Michel Poloujadoff, co-founder of ICEM in 1974, whose scientific work and service have had a lasting impact on the international electrical-machines community.
