Sala Multimedia Dipartimento Energia "Galileo Ferraris" - Ingr. 3 Piano 2°

He is a member of the consolidated research group PiCoHiMA (Fuel Cells, Hydrogen Technologies and Alternative Engines), focused on sustainable energy technologies. His research interests include the integration of fuel cells in maritime applications, CO₂ capture systems, hydrogen production from seawater, and large-scale maritime transport of hydrogen, hydrogen carriers, and CO₂, along with associated techno-economic assessments. He has participated in several competitive national and European research projects.
He is the author or co-author of more than ten peer-reviewed scientific papers indexed in JCR in the field of hydrogen and fuel cells. In 2021, he co-authored the white paper Hydrogen in the Maritime, published by Hydrogen TCP Task 39. In the field of standardization, he is a member of the international working group IEC/TC 105/WG 109, focused on fuel cell systems for maritime applications, and serves as a board member (vocal) of the Spanish standardization committee CTN-UNE 222 on fuel cell technologies. He has also coordinated PiCoHiMA's outreach activities for several editions of Madrid’s Science Week.
