  • Diagnostic and predictive tools for the simulation of the combustion and emission formation processes in diesel engines
  • Modeling of fluid power components (mainly valves) by means of 3D-CFD codes (Fluent) and 0D codes (Amesim)
  • Optimization of the designof of hybrid electric vehicles, taking also cost and environmental impact into account, and optimization of the control strategy through offline and real-time methodologies
  • Sensor-based and model-based control approaches for diesel ICEs
