Biography

E. Fabrizio, is a full professor of Building Physics and Building Services at the Department of Energy of Politecnico di Torino, TEBE Research Group (www.polito.it/tebe). He holds a PhD in Energy Technologies from Politecnico di Torino and INSA de Lyon. He leads research on the performance simulation and optimization of zero-energy buildings, energy systems for buildings, and environmental control for agricultural buildings. His research is conducted through both numerical developments and experimental test sites to increase an energy-conscious design of buildings in cities, animal husbandry structures and controlled environments for agriculture. He participated to IEA EBC Annex 59, IEA ECES Annex 31 and IEA ECES Annex 37. He served as a reviewer for many international journals and various bodies. Since 2018 he is an associate editor at the Sustainable Cities and Society journal. In 2014 he was awarded the REHVA Young Scientist Award by the European Federation of Air Conditioning Associations. He has published 120 peer-reviewed indexed international papers.
